I don’t know why but I feel the need to document this stomach saga.
So I had the spiciest version of Bicol Express for lunch. To teach my tummy a lesson. Well it’s staging a mutiny in there at the moment, I can feel dissent reverberating through the walls of my stomach. To ignore it, I am organising all my computer files, backing up old files and transferring them to the server like a good efficient little employee. Next I’ll spruce up our image repository a bit, to give the designers some new images to look forward to using.
My new HR friend (I think I don’t have to explain why I’ve encouraged this friendship to flourish) gave me some turon (fried wrapped banana?) to munch on. Against my better judgment but resolute in showing my tummy who’s boss, I ate it. Hooboy better grab on to something, things are rising to a fever pitch in there. I never know what I’m supposed to be eating or not eating when my health gets all screwed up. Should I have eaten that banana? I know it contains potassium. Do I want potassium inside me at this point? Is banana good for someone who needs to keep things intact as they exit? I can’t remember. Tennis players eat bananas during their matches. I don’t think I’m serving for the match anytime today though. All I know is I don’t usually eat banana because I hate the taste of it. But I forgot in my excitement to receive a pleasant snack surprise. I keep saying it’s like solidified spit but people look at me like I’m crazy. And I drank iced tea last night and apparently I shouldn’t have because it makes me pee more. It’s a diuretic, you know. Oh yeah, I know all about it.
I’m drinking a lot of water now…and it’s good right? Because I need to rehydrate…but then how does this affect the back way? I don’t want to flood it. The human body perplexes me.

I was like that last week, and worse: everything I ate I wanted to throw up. Kept me in bed for 1.5 days. I stopped eating dairy, anything fried and anything acidic, and then my stomach miraculously went back to normal. Dunno if this will work for you. Drinking water is good, though.
Hope you feel better soon!

Maybe there’s a virus going around… I’m still stomachy but I’ll just continue eating whatever I want, whenever I want! I call the shots round here!
